IASOC Website Update
I am pleased to say that the website development is going smoothly. I have received a couple of inquiries regarding membership and access to the journal. At the moment, I am focused on trying to get the website up and running. Once it is, I will be able to take payment for the annual membership and will be able to set everyone up with a profile on the new website and access to the journal. I am sorry for the inconvenience but at the moment, I do not have access to a pay portal by which I can accept payment. Thank you for your understanding.
ESC extention; BSC deadline
April 30th is the deadline for both ESC in Porto and BSC in Plymouth. I did not have enough interest to put together an IASOC panel for either conference but I would encourage anyone who is interested to go to put in an abstract.
ESC Conference Website | BSC Conference Website
If you have an abstract that is accepted at any conference, please let me know so I can tell the members who might also be in attendance. Also, with the new website, I am having a space developed for recordings of organized crime related presentations which members can upload and listen to.
ASC roundtable (last call)
We have a roundtable planned for ASC which is on economic crime. So far we have three confirmed participants: Dwight C. Smith, Jr., Rick Moule, Jr., and Mike Salinas. If you would like to participate in this roundtable, please let me know by next May 5th. If you know a practitioner or a Ph.D. student who is working on such topics, this would be an ideal opportunity for them, too, so please pass this info along. If anyone is interested, please email me directly at GundurRV [at] cf [dot] ac [dot] uk.
