This edition of the newsletter contains information about the following:
- IASOC Election Nominations
- IASOC at ASC
- Critical Approaches to Irregular Migration Facilitation: Dismantling the Human Smuggler Narrative
- ECPR Standing Group on Organised Crime First General Conference
If you have any thing that you would like to include in a future mailing, or if you have any questions or concerns, please email me.
Since I'm late sending out the reminder, I'm extending nominations for the IASOC positions of President, Executive Director, and Trustee (x2). Please, if you are interested, send me an email. Nominations will be extended to close on Friday, October 30th.
I would especially like to encourage Ph.D. students to get involved as trustees. It's a great opportunity to see the lay of the organized crime/illicit enterprise land.
For descriptions of the responsibilities, please refer to the last newsletter which can be found here.
